The Toyota 2017 Yaris by Toyota is an extraordinarily fuel efficient vehicle. It is also Toyota's least expensive car. One thing the 2017 Yaris does very well is stretch a gallon of gas. It has standard safety features and a remarkably generous rear seat. Remember this is a subcompact car by design. Seating for 2 people in front and 3 in the rear is standard. This subcompact car ranks 9th among 17 similar subcompact cars.
If you are truly longing for a 2017 Yaris, look closely at the 5-door LE because it includes a few extra features including cruise control and remote keyless entry.
A more costly alternative might be to look at a two-year old Prius instead. This is also a Toyota offering with terrific fuel economy and top of the line reliability with an enhanced package overall. These are both Toyota subcompact cars.
The 2017 Yaris comes as a two or a 4 door hatchback vehicle. The 2-door and 4 door hatchbacks both use a 1.5 liter, four-cylinder engine. The standard transmission is a 5 speed manual. The 4 speed automatic is optional. In all of these cases the cargo space is only about 16 cubic feet.
All 2017 Yaris models and trims have the now famous Entune Information System by Toyota. It has a 6.1 inch touch screen on the dash within easy reach of the driver. It also has phone connectivity. You can also get an optional navigation system installed by the dealer.
All 2017 Yaris models have Toyota Safety Sense C (TSS-C). This includes low-speed automatic braking, lane-departure warning and forward collision warning. Airbags are standard.
